Why Choose Cyberpunk 2077 Wallpapers?
A high-res Cyberpunk 2077 wallpaper brings the game’s neon-drenched, dystopian beauty right to your screen. Unlike generic backgrounds, these wallpapers tell stories of ambition, rebellion, and the harsh realities of life in a city that promises everything and delivers nothing. Every image captures the raw, high-tech, low-life atmosphere that makes Night City so unforgettable.
Your home screen becomes a daily window into the adventures waiting for you. Whether it’s a lone merc looking out over the city, a squad preparing for a gig, or the imposing silhouette of Arasaka Tower against a polluted sky, these backgrounds add a chrome finish to your device.

Frequently Asked Questions
Getting started is easy. Just press ‘N’ on your keyboard to activate Photo Mode. This will freeze the game and open up a whole new UI with a ton of options to play with.
Here’s a quick rundown of what you’ll find:
- Camera: This is your basic toolkit. You can switch between first-person and a free-drone camera, change your Field of View (FOV) to get wide landscape shots or tight portraits, and even add camera roll for those slick, angled action shots.
- Character: This is where you set the scene. You can make V visible or invisible (perfect for pure landscape photography), cycle through a ton of different poses from combat stances to casual ones and even make V look directly at the camera.
- Effects: Want to fine-tune the look? This tab is your best friend. You can adjust exposure, contrast, highlights, and add effects like chromatic aberration or film grain to really nail that gritty cyberpunk vibe. The Depth of Field option is key for getting that professional-looking blurry background.
- Stickers & Frames: If you want to get a little more creative, you can slap on different frames or in-universe stickers, like a Militech or Arasaka logo.
My advice? Once you dial in a look you really like in the Effects tab, save it as a preset. It saves a ton of time. When you have your shot framed perfectly, just hit ‘Tab’ to hide the UI and then press ‘Spacebar’ to snap the picture.
Unlike a lot of games that bury screenshots deep in your ‘Documents’ or the game’s installation folder, Cyberpunk 2077 is actually pretty sensible about it. It saves them right to your main Windows “Pictures” folder.
You can find the default path here:
C:\Users\[Your Username]\Pictures\Cyberpunk 2077
Just swap out [Your Username] with your actual Windows username, and you’re golden.
A quick tip: I’d recommend making a shortcut to that folder and putting it on your desktop. It saves you from having to navigate to it every time. Just right-click the “Cyberpunk 2077” folder, hit ‘Send to > Desktop (create shortcut),’ and you’re all set.
Keep in mind, this is only for screenshots taken with the in-game Photo Mode (‘N’ key). If you’re smashing F12 to take a screenshot through the Steam overlay, you’ll have to find those in Steam’s own screenshot manager.
