Kenshi Interactive Maps [Locations, Fractions & Resources]

Kenshi Interactive Maps

Your first few hours in Kenshi were probably a nightmare. You get beaten up by starving bandits, eaten by Beak Things, or enslaved for looking at a Holy Nation Paladin the wrong way. The game tells you nothing and shows you no mercy. That brutal, unforgiving sandbox is what makes it great, but wandering blindly through the Great Desert hoping to find copper is a fast track to misery. A good map isn’t just a tool; it’s the difference between building a thriving outpost and becoming Skimmer food.

That’s why I’ve put together this hub. Forget having twenty browser tabs open. Here are all the essential Kenshi interactive maps I use for everything from planning trade routes to finding the perfect spot for a hashish farm. They are all embedded right here on this page for you to use.

The Main Interactive Map

If you only use one map, make it this one. KenshiMap.com is the gold standard, the most comprehensive and detailed map out there. It has everything: cities, ancient labs, faction territories, and even the spawn points for roaming squads. This is your master tool for planning expeditions and avoiding places you have no business being in… yet. The filtering options are fantastic, letting you hide or show exactly what you’re looking for.

The very existence of these maps says everything about Kenshi's unforgiving design. It’s a world that forces you to be prepared, and that’s what makes it a masterpiece. I explore this brutal sandbox philosophy in more detail in my full Kenshi review.

Alexusfree’s Interactive Russian Map

This is a fantastic alternative to KenshiMap.com, developed by a member of the Russian community. It has a slightly different interface and filtering system but contains a wealth of detailed information. Don’t worry about the language; the map is largely visual, and the location names are in English. Sometimes it’s good to have a second option if one map is down or you prefer a different UI.

Map Divided by Factions

Want to know where to build your base without accidentally setting up on the Cannibal Plains? This map is your answer. It gives you a clear, color-coded breakdown of who controls what. It’s essential for early-game survival and late-game strategic planning. Knowing where the Shek Kingdom ends and the Holy Nation begins is critical.

Location Map

This is the wiki’s general-purpose navigation tool. It’s a clean, straightforward map showing all major and minor locations across the continent. It’s less cluttered than the big all-in-one maps, making it perfect for when you just need to figure out how to get from the Hub to Black Scratch without getting lost.

Resource Node Map

This one is for the builders and planners. It’s a specialized map that shows every single resource node in the game—copper, iron, stone, you name it. If you are scouting for the perfect outpost location, this is the map you need. It lets you find that sweet spot with 100% fertility, plenty of water, and both iron and copper nodes right next to each other.

Political Map

A clean, easy-to-read overview of faction territories. It’s a bit more stylized than the wiki version and is great for a quick, high-level reference of the political landscape.

Weather & Zone Map

Wondering where all that acid rain is coming from? This map shows you the different biomes and their unique weather patterns. It’s incredibly useful for planning travel routes if you’re not a Skeleton and want to keep your skin.

The All-In-One Static Map

This is a legendary community-made map that combines info on resources, dangers, biomes, and locations into one massive image. It can be a bit cluttered, but once you learn to read its color-coded language, it becomes an amazing, dense resource for at-a-glance planning.

Hand-Crafted Fantasy Map

Finally, something a little different. This isn’t a utility map for finding resources, but a beautifully hand-crafted map made in the style of classic fantasy worlds like Middle-earth. It won’t help you survive, but it perfectly captures the soul and feel of Kenshi’s desolate landscape. It’s just cool to look at and appreciate the artistry.

Just don’t let them spoil the magic of getting lost and discovering some forgotten ruin all on your own. Good luck out there, you’ll need it.
