Interactive Maps For Kenshi

Interactive maps for Kenshi

Your first few hours in Kenshi were probably a nightmare. You get beaten up by starving bandits, eaten by Beak Things, or enslaved for looking at a Holy Nation Paladin the wrong way. The game tells you nothing and shows you no mercy.

Your first hours in Kenshi were probably a nightmare. Hungry Bandits beat you up, Beak Things ate you, or you got enslaved just for looking at a Holy Nation paladin the wrong way. The game explains nothing and shows no mercy. That brutal, unforgiving sandbox is what makes it great, but wandering blindly through the Great Desert hoping to find copper is a fast track to misery. A good map isn’t just a tool: it’s the difference between building a thriving outpost and becoming Skimmer food.

That’s why I gathered all the maps in one place. Forget having twenty browser tabs open. Here you’ll find all the essential Kenshi interactive maps I use for everything from planning trade routes to finding the perfect spot for a hashish farm. They’re all embedded right here on this page for convenience.

The main interactive map

If you only use one map, make it this one. It’s the most complete and detailed map out there. It has everything: towns, ancient labs, faction territories and even roaming squad spawn points. This is your main tool for planning expeditions and steering clear of places you’re not ready for yet. The filters are fantastic, letting you hide or display exactly what you’re looking for.

Alexusfree’s interactive map

This is a fantastic alternative to KenshiMap.com, developed by a member of the Russian-speaking community. Its interface and filtering system are a little different, but it contains a wealth of detailed information. Don’t worry about the language: the map is mostly visual, and location names are in English. It’s sometimes useful to have a second option if one map is down or you prefer a different interface.

Map divided by factions

Want to know where to build a base without accidentally settling in the Cannibal Plains? This map has your answer. It gives you a clear, color-coded breakdown of who controls what. That’s essential for early-game survival and late-game strategic planning. Knowing where the Shek Kingdom ends and the Holy Nation begins is critical.

Location map

A clean, straightforward map showing all the major and minor locations on the continent. It’s less cluttered than the big all-in-one maps, making it ideal when you just need to work out how to get from the Hub to Black Scratch without getting lost.

Resource node map

This one’s for builders and planners. It’s a specialized map showing every resource node in the game: copper, iron, stone, you name it. If you’re looking for the perfect outpost location, you need this map. It lets you find that sweet spot with 100% fertility, plenty of water and iron and copper deposits right next to each other.

Political faction map

A clean, easy-to-read overview of faction territories. It’s a little more stylized than the wiki version and works well as a quick reference to the political landscape.

Weather and zone map

Wondering where that acid rain is coming from? This map shows the different biomes and their distinctive weather conditions. It’s incredibly useful for planning travel routes if you’re not a Skeleton and would like to keep your skin.

The all-in-one static map

A legendary community map combining resources, hazards, biomes and locations in one massive image. It can look a little cluttered, but once you learn to read its color coding, it becomes a fantastic, information-packed resource for planning at a glance.

One last map, drawn by a fan

Finally, something a little different. This isn’t a practical map for finding resources, but a beautifully hand-drawn map in the style of classic fantasy worlds such as Middle-earth. It won’t help you survive, but it perfectly captures the soul and atmosphere of Kenshi’s desolate landscape. It’s simply great to look at and appreciate the artist’s craft.
