10 [Best Cyberdecks] Compared🧬Cyberpunk 2077 - Patch 2.5+

The best cyberdecks in Cyberpunk 2077: list and ranking

Cyberdecks are essentially your hacking operating system in Cyberpunk 2077. Phantom Liberty and update 2.0 completely reshaped netrunning, and choosing the wrong deck can quickly make you a liability. You need to know what each one does when Militech soldiers are about to zero you, or when you’re sneaking through an Arasaka facility without triggering every alarm in Watson.

I’ve ranked ten cyberdecks including ones no longer in the game that you can restore with mods, judging their stats, unique abilities and suitability for different playstyles.

1. Tetratronic Rippler MK.5

Here it is. The best cyberdeck in Cyberpunk 2077, period. Whether you’re a pure netrunner, a gun-hacking hybrid or a stealth ghost, the Tetratronic Rippler MK.5, especially at Tier 5++, outperforms everything else when fully upgraded.

Tetratronic Rippler MK.5 stats screen in Cyberpunk 2077.
Tetratronic Rippler MK.5 takes first place. The best cyberdeck, hands down.

What you get:

  • RAM: 20 units. Yes, twenty. Ridiculous.
  • Quickhack slots: 8
  • Buffer size: 4
  • Cyberware Capacity cost: 16

Key abilities: Here’s the interesting part. You can upload quickhacks while scanning, standard now, but the big benefit is +12 RAM on top of the base value. That’s this deck’s unique feature. It also gives +15% weapon damage against enemies affected by non-combat quickhacks, opening up excellent hybrid builds.

The standout feature: activating Overclock automatically uploads Reboot Optics and Weapon Glitch to every enemy within 8 meters. Instant crowd control before the first shot. Walk into a room full of Maelstrom, activate Overclock and watch them go blind and drop their guns together. A beautiful sight.

Why it’s first: 20 RAM is more than a nice number. It means continuous hacking without waiting for recovery. Spam System Collapse, Contagion and Overheat, and you’ll still have resources for smaller tricks. Automatic Overclock uploads handle crowds, the damage bonus rewards tactical play, and the huge RAM pool gives you freedom.

Where to find it: Any ripperdoc after level 40. The base Tier 5 version costs around 35,000 eddies. Upgrade it to 5++ yourself with quickhack components, Tier 5 and 5+ materials obtained by dismantling expensive equipment.

Builds: Works with practically everything. Pure hacking? Yes. Smart weapons? Yes. Monowire? Also yes. This deck doesn’t lock you into one style.

2. Militech Canto MK.6

Now for something strange. The Militech Canto MK.6 is an urban legend among the game’s netrunners, and honestly? It lives up to the hype. It’s exclusive to Phantom Liberty and requires particular story decisions.

Militech Canto MK.6 stats showing Blackwall Gateway.
Militech Canto MK.6 takes second for one reason: the absurd power of Blackwall Gateway.

Stats breakdown:

  • RAM: 11 units
  • Slots: 4-5, with one permanently occupied by Blackwall Gateway.
  • Buffer size: 4
  • Cyberware Capacity cost: 33

Blackwall Gateway: The main reason to choose this deck. Blackwall Gateway is effectively a combat virus from beyond the Blackwall. It hits up to 5 enemies within 30 meters, fatally damaging nervous systems and cyberware. Mechs, robots, drones and turrets shut down instantly.

Each subsequent spread costs more RAM but uploads faster. The risky part: you can halve the RAM cost by paying with your own health. High risk, huge reward.

One small detail: a rogue AI lives inside the deck and sometimes talks to you. Not creepy at all, right? 😉

Why it’s second: Low RAM and fewer slots would usually push a deck down the ranking, but Blackwall Gateway is powerful enough to overlook those drawbacks. Clear rooms in seconds if enemies are full of chrome. Instantly eliminating mechs alone turns difficult missions into a stroll.

How to get it: easily missed! You need Phantom Liberty. Then:

  1. Side with Reed, not Songbird, during Firestarter. The decision is permanent.
  2. Complete Run This Town.
  3. During Somewhat Damaged, find the crafting spec in Experimental Prototyping. Access code: 714212.
  4. Take the Behavioral System Component from the Cerberus robot at the end of the mission.
  5. Wait 24 in-game hours, then visit Yoko’s shop at Kabuki Market to decrypt it.
  6. Craft the deck with 12 Tier 5 quickhack components, 50 Tier 5 item components and the decrypted component.

If you skip any of these steps, access is permanently closed. There won’t be a second chance.

Build: Blackwall netrunner. Crowd destruction and domination over machines. This thing makes you feel like a digital reaper.

3. NetWatch Netdriver MK.1

NetWatch agents use this exclusively. After thorough testing, I understand why. The NetWatch Netdriver is pure offense: maximum quickhack damage with instant uploads to multiple targets.

NetWatch Netdriver MK.1 stats showing device-hacking bonuses.
Rank 3: NetWatch Netdriver MK.1. Become a ghost in the machine and fry gonks through cameras.

Core stats:

  • RAM: 13 units
  • Slots: 8
  • Buffer size: 4
  • Cyberware Capacity cost: 25

Why it’s third: This deck makes you a true ghost in the system. Its strength comes from hacking through devices. Combat quickhacks uploaded through cameras or turrets receive +30% damage and +50% duration. Your Contagion spreads further and lasts longer, while Overheat becomes a delayed death sentence. Device-control quickhacks also cost 50% less RAM, turning the battlefield into your playground for next to nothing.

Where to find it: Buy it from any ripperdoc at level 40 or above.

Advanced strategy: Forget frontal attacks. Surveillance cameras are your best friends. Use quickhacks that benefit from damage and duration, such as Contagion and Overheat. Attack through cameras for the bonuses. Then confuse enemies with cheap Distract Enemies or Initiate Overload interactions while your main quickhacks burn them from within.

4. Arasaka MK.5

If you play a stealth netrunner, as I do on repeat playthroughs, the Arasaka MK.5 is your best friend. It’s built for covert operations where detection means mission failure.

Arasaka MK.5 stealth cyberdeck stats in Cyberpunk 2077.
Arasaka MK.5 ranks fourth. A ghost-run companion that makes you almost untraceable.

Stats:

  • RAM: 9 units
  • Slots: 8
  • Buffer size: 4
  • Cyberware Capacity cost: 14

Stealth abilities: Reduces covert quickhack costs, including Memory Wipe, Reboot Optics and Bait, by 2 RAM. Restores 5 RAM for every stealth takedown. Most importantly, tracing is 40% slower. At higher tiers, Overclock stops trace progress entirely.

Trace resistance is incredibly strong. Quickhacking normally makes enemies start tracing your signal. This deck gives you a head start to finish hacking or reposition.

Why it’s fourth: The RAM discount makes covert quickhacks very cheap, letting you disable more enemies. RAM refunds on takedowns keep you going, while slower tracing provides room for mistakes.

Where to buy it: Buck’s clinic in Kabuki, Watson. Available at level 40+, upgradable to 5++.

Build tip: Combine it with Memory Wipe to stay completely hidden. The low cost lets you use it repeatedly without being detected. Alternatively, use System Collapse for a silent neutralization that immediately refunds the RAM spent.

5. Raven Microcyber MK.3

The Raven Microcyber is a crowd-control netrunner’s dream, fundamentally changing quickhack spread. Most decks make you wait for the first upload to finish. This one spreads infection instantly.

Raven Microcyber MK.3 stats showing instant quickhack spread.
Rank 5: Raven Microcyber MK.3. Become a walking biohazard with instant Contagion spread.

Stats:

  • RAM: 9 units
  • Slots: 8
  • Buffer size: 4
  • Cyberware Capacity cost: 20

Spread mechanics: Increases quickhack spread radius by 40-100%, effectively doubling coverage. Its main feature, though, spreads effects to nearby enemies instantly, without waiting for the upload to finish. That changes everything. During Overclock, it also raises the chance to spread a quickhack to two nearby enemies at once.

Why it’s fifth: Instant spread makes Contagion builds devastating. Hit one enemy, and the whole group across a huge radius gets infected. Add Overheat for a chain reaction of explosions that turns the area into toxic hell. This deck makes you a walking biological threat.

Where to find it after patch 2.0: Chrome’s clinic in Kabuki, Watson, southwest of the market. Requires 40 Street Cred, formerly 14. Price: 28,000-35,000 eddies.

Note: Higher-tier versions are harder to find after 2.0. You may need to buy a lower-tier version and upgrade it yourself.

Tactics: Built for Contagion. Pick a target in the middle of the group, and instant spread covers everyone. Activate Overclock and cast again to poison more targets. A perfect tool for domination.

6. Militech Paraline MK.4

You start with this cyberdeck. Most players immediately ditch it. That’s a mistake. Upgraded to Tier 5++, the Militech Paraline MK.4 becomes one of the game’s most versatile hybrid decks.

Militech Paraline MK.4 stats showing hybrid-build synergy.
Don’t discard your starter deck. Militech Paraline MK.4 ranks sixth as a smart-weapon/Monowire hybrid.

Base stats:

  • RAM: 9 units
  • Slots: 8
  • Buffer size: 4
  • Cyberware Capacity cost: 14

Bonuses: Increases quickhack damage by 10%, a flat bonus unlocked at Tier 2. Raises Monowire damage by 2% per RAM unit spent, up to 30%. Shooting an enemy with a smart weapon speeds quickhack uploads. During Overclock, smart weapons and Monowire deal additional Electrical damage equal to 25-60% of normal damage.

Why it’s sixth: The only deck built specifically for the netrunner-shooter combination. Upload a quickhack, then finish with smart-weapon Electrical damage. Or spend RAM on hacks before switching to an empowered Monowire.

How to get it: You already have it. Keep it and upgrade it at ripperdocs instead of selling it.

Weapon recommendations: Pairs well with Yinglong, Pizdets, Prototype: Shingen Mark V or Divided We Stand. Homing shots plus Overclock’s Electrical damage tear enemies apart.

Build tip: Ideal if pure hacking bores you. Soften targets with quickhacks and finish with a smart gun.

7. Fuyutsuki Tinkerer MK.3

Fuyutsuki Tinkerer MK.3 is a distinctive cyberdeck for hybrid netrunners weaving Monowire attacks between damage-over-time quickhacks. It’s for players who like watching enemies burn while closing in for the kill.

Fuyutsuki Tinkerer MK.3 stats showing DoT and Monowire bonuses.
Rank 7: Fuyutsuki Tinkerer MK.3. A deadly loop for damage-over-time and Monowire builds.

Core stats:

  • RAM: 8 units
  • Slots: 8
  • Buffer size: 4
  • Cyberware Capacity cost: 20

DoT and Monowire synergy: Speeds RAM recovery, raises damage-over-time quickhack damage and increases Monowire damage against enemies already affected by those effects.

Why it’s seventh: Creates a deadly cycle. Apply a DoT quickhack such as Contagion or Overheat to a group, then rush in with Monowire to deal bonus damage to debuffed targets.

Location: The West Wind Estate ripperdoc in Pacifica. Requires 40 Street Cred and costs 35,000 eddies. It’s no longer sold after patch 2.0, so use this mod to restore it.

Strategy: The best Monowire/netrunner hybrid deck. Start with Contagion to apply a status to the crowd. Your Monowire is fully empowered while they take damage. Activate Overclock to spread more DoTs.

8. Stephenson Tech MK.4

Stephenson Tech MK.4 is for the dedicated stealth netrunner who controls the battlefield with covert quickhacks before launching a devastating attack. It prepares your victory from the shadows.

Stephenson Tech MK.4 stats showing stealth and Overclock perks.
Stephenson Tech MK.4 takes eighth place in my ranking.

Tier 5 stats:

  • RAM: 9 units
  • Slots: 8
  • Buffer size: 4
  • Cyberware Capacity cost: 20

Cooldown-focused abilities: Speeds quickhack recovery, extends combat quickhack duration and shortens upload time.

Why it’s eighth: Longer combat effects and fast cooldowns give you control. Blind enemies, disable weapons or lure them away, with effects lasting long enough to prepare your attack. Near-instant uploads let you do it quietly.

Location: Formerly sold by the West Wind Estate ripperdoc in Pacifica. Requires 37 Street Cred and costs 28,000-35,000 eddies depending on version. Now use the Stephenson Tech mod.

Pro tip: Start with Reboot Optics or Weapon Glitch. The duration bonus gives you a generous window. Then activate Overclock and finish with a powerful Synapse Burnout.

9. Biotech Σ MK.4

Don’t let low RAM fool you. The Biotech Σ MK.4 is a specialist monster for relentless damage over time and Monowire attacks. It thrives on keeping enemies burning, poisoned or electrocuted.

Biotech Σ MK.4 stats showing DoT duration and Overclock refresh.
Rank 9: Biotech Σ MK.4. A DoT monster that refreshes your hacks when Overclock activates.

Core stats:

  • RAM: 9 units
  • Slots: 8
  • Buffer size: 4
  • Cyberware Capacity cost: 16

Monowire and DoT synergy: Extends combat quickhack duration by 15-60%, raises their damage over time by 10% and gives Monowire +25% damage against DoT-affected enemies. Its standout feature resets DoT timers when Overclock activates.

Why it’s ninth: Maximizes Contagion and Overheat. Enemies burn for a long time. Refreshing timers with Overclock just before effects expire keeps them active almost indefinitely. Finish burning enemies with your bonus-damage Monowire.

The real killer feature is its Overclock synergy. Activating Overclock resets damage-over-time timers. Infect a group with Contagion, let it work, then trigger Overclock just before it expires to start again. This keeps your strongest damage effects active almost constantly. Meanwhile, your Monowire gets +25% damage against suffering targets, making survivors easy to finish.

How to get it: Buy it from any ripperdoc after level 10. In Phantom Liberty, a scripted airdrop at the parking area near Hotel Akebono in Luxor Heights also provides it.

Strategy: Apply Contagion and Overheat. Let them work. Activate Overclock just before they expire, refreshing timers and giving you resources for Monowire attacks.

10. Tetratronic Rippler MK.4

A mercenary-netrunner’s dream. Tetratronic Rippler MK.4 blends destructive quickhacks with powerful shooting. It’s for chooms who soften targets with hacks before finishing them with a well-placed bullet.

Tetratronic Rippler MK.4 stats showing the +40% quickhack queue damage bonus.
Rank 10: Tetratronic Rippler MK.4. A one-two combo deck with +40% queued quickhack damage.

Legendary stats:

  • RAM: 13 units
  • Slots: 8
  • Buffer size: 4
  • Cyberware Capacity cost: 16

Focus: Lethal quickhacks can spread to a nearby target. Combat quickhacks deal 40% more damage when queued immediately after a non-combat quickhack. Weapons deal 15% more damage against enemies affected by non-combat quickhacks.

Why it’s tenth: The king of one-two combos. Queue a covert quickhack such as Reboot Optics, followed by a combat quickhack such as Short Circuit. The second hack deals 40% more damage.

While the enemy is blinded, your gun also gets +15% damage. That creates an effective loop: debuff, powerful quickhack, finish with bullets.

Location: Buy it from any ripperdoc.

Upgrade path: Use it as a stepping stone at levels 30-39, then switch to MK.5 at level 40.

Choosing your cyberdeck

Tetratronic Rippler MK.5 is the best all-round deck for maximum efficiency. Specialists such as Arasaka MK.5 for stealth or NetWatch Netdriver for camera-based hacking can be better in specific situations.

Militech Canto stands apart: it’s absurdly strong against groups, but difficult to obtain.

Hybrid decks surprised me with their viability. The starter Militech Paraline and Fuyutsuki Tinkerer are excellent for active gameplay mixing hacking with smart weapons or Monowire. You no longer need to be a pure hacker-mage.

Cyberdeck questions answered

Which cyberdeck best balances RAM, buffer size and abilities?

Tetratronic Rippler MK.5 probably has the highest maximum RAM potential, thanks to its exclusive +12 bonus on top of a high base value. For balanced, aggressive netrunning, though, Tetratronic Rippler MK.4 is a strong competitor with 13 RAM and a queue ability that boosts combat quickhack damage by 40%.

Which cyberdeck is best for stealth and which for combat?

Let’s separate stealth from combat:

  • Stealth: Arasaka MK.5. Its perks suit ghost playthroughs: cheaper covert quickhacks, RAM recovery from takedowns and much slower enemy tracing.
  • Combat: Tetratronic Rippler MK.4 is fantastic for hybrid fighters. Its queue bonus rewards a debuff -> combat hack -> weapon finisher combo. For pure quickhack damage through the environment, NetWatch Netdriver MK.1 is king, making device-uploaded hacks significantly stronger.

Which cyberdeck suits hybrid builds mixing stealth, tech and combat?

Militech Paraline MK.4 is the quintessential hybrid deck, directly boosting smart-weapon and Monowire damage. Alternatively, Fuyutsuki Tinkerer MK.3 specifically supports DoT/Monowire play, rewarding you for burning or poisoning enemies before closing in.

Is NetWatch Netdriver still overpowered after update 2.0?

It was completely rebalanced. It’s no longer an ultimate-quickhack spam deck. NetWatch Netdriver MK.1 is now a high-damage tactical cyberdeck focused on uploads through devices such as cameras. This provides +30% damage and +50% duration, making it ideal for remote strategic attacks rather than direct brute-force hacking.

Which quickhacks pair best with NetWatch Netdriver MK.1 or Tetratronic Rippler MK.4?

  • NetWatch Netdriver MK.1: use hacks that benefit from both damage and duration. Contagion and Overheat are the best choices. Uploading through a camera makes them hit harder and last 50% longer, letting the damage spread or fully cook the enemy.
  • Tetratronic Rippler MK.4: focus on queues. Start with a covert quickhack, then a combat one. Use Reboot Optics or Weapon Glitch first, immediately followed by Synapse Burnout or Short Circuit. The combat hack receives a huge +40% damage bonus.

Which cyberdeck offers the fastest RAM recovery in Phantom Liberty?

No deck simply has the highest passive regeneration in every situation. Fuyutsuki Tinkerer MK.3 offers steady RAM recovery. Stephenson Tech MK.4 gives a powerful RAM recovery-speed bonus only during Overclock, rewarding aggressive play.

Which cyberdeck gives the most RAM?

Tetratronic Rippler MK.5 is the undisputed RAM king. Its high base RAM plus an exclusive +12 Max RAM bonus puts total capacity far above every other deck. It’s the best option for builds needing a huge reserve for uninterrupted hacking.
