4 Best Braindance Mods In 2026 🎬 For Cyberpunk 2077

Braindances in Cyberpunk are a classic example of an underdeveloped mechanic that could have become much more, but ended up as a set of scripted scenes. Modders have improved the situation by adding what was missing: proper ways to use the technology, collecting, and the option to skip those endless sequences.

My site has a main Cyberpunk 2077 section with all my guides and mod selections, where you will find everything you need to improve your Night City. Let’s go!

Lizzie’s Braindances

Lizzie’s Bar specializes in braindances in the lore, but there is little to do there after a couple of quests. This mod turns it into a fully fledged braindance bar with a huge content catalog: romantic scenes, meditative braindances, parties with companions, and concerts. Everything the vanilla game was missing.

Lizzie's Braindances menu mod with a catalogue of scenes at Lizzie's Bar.
  • More than 300 characters to choose from
  • Multiple categories: Pure Joytoy Experience, DoubleAction, romantic series, concerts, zen relaxation
  • Possibility of romance with favorite characters through braindance
  • Gender-specific content (some braindance is only available for female or male versions of V)
  • Lore-Friendly Design – The Bar Really Feels Like a BD Sale Place
  • Works on version 2.31 (other patches may have problems)

✅ How it changes gameplay: Lizzie’s Bar finally starts serving its purpose. Instead of an empty room, you get a hub with hundreds of options: unwind after tough missions, see your favorite characters in new situations, or simply hang out in Night City’s atmosphere. This gives you reasons to return to a place that otherwise feels dead after the story ends.

How to install:

  1. Download the mod and unpack it into the game’s root folder.
  2. If you use language packs, download them too and agree to overwrite files when prompted.
  3. Make sure all required dependencies are installed.
  4. Launch the game.

How to use:

  1. If you’re already in Lizzie’s bar, get out of the area.
  2. Return to the bar strictly between 18:00 and 06:00; otherwise, the NPC will not appear.
  3. Get out and come back if the seller hasn’t loaded.
  4. Look for the braindance vendor in the main room, marked with a BD icon on the map and minimap.
  5. Choose a category and subcategory from the menu
  6. For braindances with character selection, choose the character you want using the green “Open catalog…” text.
  7. Go to the braindance booth and start.
  8. After completion, you can choose another or continue to use the booth.

Important points: stay away from the reception desk when interacting with the vendor. Character selection is optional for some braindances, while others show the price immediately. The mod is SFW by default, with a separate NSFW version available.

Activated Braindance Wreath Face Lights for V

A small visual mod that adds lights to the braindance wreath. When V uses the technology, the wreath lights up, with six color options ranging from gold to pink.

Activated Braindance Wreath Face Lights illuminating V's braindance wreath.
  • 6 different lighting options, including gold, pink, rust, and more
  • Works with all vanilla wreath variants
  • Compatible with most mods that change wreath models
  • Can be combined with CMAv2 to wear masks with glasses
  • Fixes an issue that prevented all wreath variants from using custom lighting

✅ How it changes gameplay: purely cosmetic, but a nice improvement. The wreath stops being a gray piece of plastic and becomes a high-tech gadget with lighting. It looks particularly good in dark locations or at night, making it immediately clear that V is immersed in someone else’s memories. A small detail that adds atmosphere to the cyberpunk aesthetic.

Skip Unskippable Cutscenes Braindance Rides Dialogue Phone Calls

A mod for players on another playthrough who are tired of watching the same unskippable scenes. It lets you speed up time during braindances, long conversations, journeys, and calls to get through them.

Skip unskippable cutscenes mod to speed up dialogue and scenes in Cyberpunk 2077.
  • Rewinding almost any non-skippable content
  • Configurable speed of time acceleration
  • You can slow down the time if you need to.
  • Support for hotkey binding
  • Simple on/off
  • Requires Cyber Engine Tweaks

✅ How it changes gameplay: saving time on repeat playthroughs is the main attraction. When you are watching the same braindance scene for the third time, you just want to fast-forward and move on. The mod handles that neatly by speeding up time rather than abruptly skipping. Particularly useful for farming or testing different builds once you have had enough of the story scenes.

Braindance Collectors

The mod restores braindances from the game files that existed in the code but were unavailable to players. You can now collect BDs in your inventory, find them at junk vendors, and receive them for completing the Zen Master’s quests.

Braindance Collectors mod adds collectible discs and awards to inventory.
  • Access to previously unavailable braindances through junk vendors
  • New items for completing the Zen Master’s quests
  • New icons for several braindances
  • Lore-friendly descriptions for all BD
  • Organized names for sorting inventory by type
  • Cosmetic Inventory Improvements

Which braindances can you find?

At the junk vendor in Max-imum Pleasure, Heywood:

  • BD: Crime and Punishment and Zombies
  • BD: Cyberpsychosis
  • BD: Foreign Body, with a new icon
  • BD: Maxwell’s Rehab
  • BD: sASSquatch

At the junk vendor in Jackson Plains:

  • BD: Badlands Raid 2.0

For completing the Zen Master’s quests:

  • Imagine → BD: Meditative Braindance – Earth
  • Stairway to Heaven → BD: Meditative Braindance – Water
  • Poems of Atoms → BD: Meditative Braindance – Fire
  • Meetings Along the Edge → BD: Meditative Braindance – Air

Merchants on Jig-Jig Street:

  • BD: Wet Dream, with a new icon
  • BD: 3 Mouths 1 Desire, with a new icon; the censored version is unchanged

✅ How it changes gameplay: adds the collecting element missing from vanilla braindances. Instead of only watching scripted scenes, you can collect rare BDs, look for them at vendors, and receive them for completing jobs. Braindances become items you want to find and keep rather than just a simple mechanic. The Zen Master’s quests now provide a material reward as well as spiritual enlightenment. 😉

Mod installation recommendations

Most braindance mods require core dependencies such as Cyber Engine Tweaks or REDmod. Install those first and check version compatibility: many mods were tested on 2.31 and may have issues on other patches.

Always read the mod’s Nexus description before installation. It lists conflicts, load order, and specific requirements. A manager such as Vortex simplifies the process, but manual installation is straightforward too.

Make a backup of saves before installation, especially if you put several mods at once. Sometimes conflicts don’t show up right away, and it’s better to be able to roll back.

Are braindance mods worth the effort?

If this is not your first Cyberpunk playthrough, or you simply want to get more from an unfinished mechanic, these mods are worth it. Lizzie’s Braindances brings an empty location to life with a wealth of content, Skip Unskippable saves hours on repeat playthroughs, and Braindance Collectors adds collecting.

Do not forget about version compatibility and dependency. Most mods are stable, but there is always a risk of conflict.
