Terms and Conditions
These terms describe the rules for using Dafy Gaming Hub at dafy.site (the “Website”), operated by Dafy. Please read them before using the Website or contributing content. If you do not agree with these rules, please do not submit content or use features that require your agreement.
These terms apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law. They do not take away mandatory consumer rights, and browsing the Website does not by itself provide consent to personal data processing or non-essential tracking. The Website is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
1. Using the Website
Permitted use
You may read articles for personal use, share links, contact the author and use commenting or other participation features where they are available. You may subscribe to updates if a subscription option is offered.
Prohibited conduct
- Do not use the Website for unlawful activity or infringe another person’s rights.
- Do not post spam, scams, malware, threats, harassment or deliberately misleading content.
- Do not try to access accounts, systems or data without authorization.
- Do not interfere with the Website’s operation or bypass its security controls.
2. Copyright and sharing
Original articles, original images and Website branding belong to their respective rights holders. Game artwork, screenshots, trademarks, embedded media and other third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. Their appearance here does not imply an official partnership.
You are welcome to share links and quote short excerpts of my original writing with clear attribution and a link to the source. Please request written permission before republishing an entire article or otherwise reusing original material beyond this permission. Any use independently permitted by law, including applicable fair use, fair dealing or quotation exceptions, remains available.
3. Comments and submitted content
Where submissions are enabled, please contribute only material you have the right to share and avoid posting private information about yourself or others.
You retain ownership of your contributions. By submitting material for public display, you give the Website a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, display and technically format that material as needed to publish and moderate it on the Website. This does not grant unrestricted permission to use your identity or contribution in unrelated advertising; any additional permission required for that use must be obtained separately.
I may moderate or remove submissions and restrict access to participation features for violations of these rules, subject to applicable law. If you believe content infringes your rights or was removed in error, use the contact link below and include the relevant page address.
4. External links, advertising and purchases
The Website links to third-party stores, mod repositories and other services, and may include embedded media or advertisements. External services have their own terms and privacy practices. Check those terms before downloading files, creating an account or paying for anything.
Affiliate links may generate a commission for the Website. See the Affiliate and Advertising Disclosure for details.
A purchase made on a third-party website is a transaction with the seller identified there. Check regional restrictions, platform compatibility, prices, taxes, renewals, cancellation terms and refund rights before completing a purchase. These terms do not remove any statutory rights relating to that transaction or any responsibility the Website has under applicable law.
5. Information, availability and responsibility
Reviews and recommendations reflect personal experience and opinion. Guides describe the game versions, mods and hardware available when they were written or updated. Patches, load orders and individual setups can change the results. Back up saves and relevant files before following modding instructions.
I aim to keep information useful and accurate, but cannot guarantee that every page is complete, current or suitable for every setup, or that the Website will always be available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties.
Any exclusion or limitation of responsibility applies only where legally permitted. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded, or any other responsibility that applicable law does not allow to be limited. Mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies remain unaffected.
6. Privacy and cookies
The Privacy Policy explains personal data processing and how to raise a privacy request. Agreement to these terms is not a substitute for any consent required for cookies, analytics, advertising or other processing.
Where the GDPR or UK data protection law applies, individuals may have rights such as access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, subject to the relevant conditions and exceptions. Where the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, applies to the operator, California residents may have rights to know, delete or correct personal information and opt out of its sale or sharing. The CCPA is not a general right to prohibit all data collection. Other state and national laws may provide additional rights.
7. Changes to these terms
Updated terms will be published on this page. Material changes should be identified with a revision date and, where required by law, additional notice or agreement. Changes do not retroactively remove rights that have already arisen, and publication of an update does not itself create consent to new personal data processing.
8. Applicable law and your rights
The law that applies depends on the circumstances and the relevant jurisdiction’s rules. These terms do not impose an exclusive foreign court, mandatory arbitration or a waiver of collective remedies. Nothing here prevents you from exercising rights before a court or authority available to you under mandatory law.
For readers in the EU and EEA, applicable consumer protections, including national rules on unfair contract terms, remain unaffected. Readers in the UK and the United States retain the protections that apply in their jurisdictions. Privacy laws are addressed separately in the Privacy Policy; they do not by themselves determine the law governing every Website dispute.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply only insofar as they can lawfully continue to operate without it.
