When the anime Edgerunners came out in 2022, it didn’t just refresh the interest in Cyberpunk 2077 – it literally got players back to Night City and trying to recreate that whole crazy style. Honestly, I watched the whole season twice (and yes, I cried both times) and then I started looking for mods to bring that experience into the game.
Below are 10 Edgerunners anime mods for Cyberpunk 2077 that change how the game plays and feels, from Lucy’s outfits to a Cyberpsychosis system that works almost like the anime. For other guides and modifications, visit my Cyberpunk 2077 page, where you will find plenty of useful content.
EXHAUSTIVE Lucy’s Outfit
Want to look like Lucy from the anime? This mod gives you the character’s full wardrobe, with detailed work and several options rather than a simplified version.

EXHAUSTIVE Lucy’s Outfit includes five separate pieces, t1_lucy, t2_lucy, t2_lucy_b, s_lucy, and l1_lucy, added through CET. Extensive community testing by Kohnnor, protossvoid, and FoxPurple helped resolve most bugs.
- Complete set of 5 Lucy clothing options
- Add via console commands like Game.AddToInventory(“Items.t1_lucy”, 1)
- Compatible with patch 2.0+ and all current updates
- Requires ArchiveXL, TweakXL and Cyber Engine Tweaks
- Includes a list of known problems on the mod page
✅ How gameplay is changing: You get the opportunity to create an exact copy of the image of Lucy and feel the atmosphere of the anime on your V. The suit allows you to fully immerse yourself in the role of netrunner, especially if you combine it with the appropriate style of play.
Night City Interactions — Core (Edgerunners Tour quest)
Remember all those iconic locations from the anime – the bar with David, ripperdoc, rooftops and streets? Now you can visit them all in a separate quest.

Night City Interactions adds the Edgerunners Tour metaquest, with 10 locations from across the anime. Each corresponds to a particular scene, letting you follow the characters’ footsteps.
- Contains Edgerunners Tour quest with 10 locations
- Supports English, Spanish, and other languages
- Minimum risk of conflict with other mods
- Requires ArchiveXL, TweakXL and Cyber Engine Tweaks
✅ How it changes gameplay: this mod turns Night City into a real walking tour of the anime. As you run through town, you visit places that remind you of Edgerunners, especially if you remember what happened in each episode. A great reason to slow down and enjoy the atmosphere instead of just chasing quests.
Lucy Pistol Real Colors 2.0 Compatible (lucy’s pistol)
The Constitution Arms Unity looks good, but it definitely does not resemble Lucy’s pistol in the anime. This texture mod fixes that.

Lucy Pistol Real Colors changes the textures of the Constitution Arms “Unity” to match the weapons of Lucy of the Edgerunners. The colors are accurate, the icon is customized (with the image of Lucy herself), and the mod is compatible even with Enhanced Craft.
- Texture mod for Unity Neon
- Accurate color scheme from anime
- A custom icon featuring Lucy
- Compatible with Patch 2.0+ and Enhanced Craft
- There is a problem – the icon of the gun can be too bright
✅ How it changes gameplay: a more authentic-looking weapon adds a ton of immersion, particularly with Lucy’s outfit. Small, but it makes you smile whenever you draw it.
Edgerunners Sandevistan Enter and Exit Sounds
The anime’s Sandevistan activation sound is something special: that distinctive crackle before time slows. Now it can be in your game.

Edgerunners Sandevistan Sounds replaces activation and deactivation audio with the anime versions. Choose long or short activation sounds, with a shared deactivation sound.
- Two variants of activation sound (long and short)
- One deactivation sound for both versions
- Requires Audioware and RedMod to work with patch 2.0+
- Compatible with all the latest updates
- Simple installation through the root folder of the game
✅ How it changes gameplay: sound is half the atmosphere, particularly for Sandevistan builds. Activate it and hear that anime sound, and it feels different. A small change, but satisfying.
Edgeshaders — Anime ReShade
The graphics in Cyberpunk 2077 are cool, but it doesn’t look like an anime. This ReShade changes the visual style of the game, bringing it closer to the Edgerunners.

Edgeshaders uses cel-shading effects for an anime-inspired look. The preset is optimized for gameplay: the UI and HUD remain readable, while the visual effect applies to everything else.
- Turns Graphics into Anime Style
- Minimal impact on UI and HUD
- Requires the latest ReShade version
- Recommended graphics settings: low-to-medium for better results
- Important: The order of shaders is critical for the correct effect
✅ How gameplay is changing: If you want a full immersion in the style of Edgerunners, this mod is a must. It changes perceptions dramatically. However, you need to get used to the new picture – the first half an hour can be a little strange, but then you can’t imagine how you played without it.
Wannabe Edgerunner — A Simple Cyberpsychosis Mod
Among the more interesting, lesser-known choices, Wannabe Edgerunner adds Humanity and Cyberpsychosis, as in the anime’s lore.

The more cyberware V installs, the lower Humanity becomes. Drop too far and cyberpsychosis symptoms begin: visual effects, loss of control, the whole package. There are even Neuroblockers consumables to help manage your condition.
- A new Humanity stat
- Cyberpsychosis with a low level of Humanity
- The cost of Humanity depends on the type and quality of implants.
- Many Visual Effects and Recovery Systems
- Requires ArchiveXL, RED4ext and Redscript
✅ How it changes gameplay: adds real consequences to cyberware installation. You cannot simply fill V with every implant available; each upgrade has a cost. It changes build-making and makes you weigh another implant against the risk of losing your mind. The best way to understand David’s experience in the anime.
David Martinez Sandevistan — Cyberpsychosis Overhaul
Want David’s Sandevistan? This mod adds an experimental Militech Apogee with its safety systems disabled.

David Martinez Sandevistan lasts longer than normal but damages V’s health while active. It recreates exactly how David’s device worked in the anime: more power, more risk.
- New Sandevistan in the style of David Martinez
- Experimental version of the Militech Apogee
- Longer duration at the cost of health
- Requires Phantom Liberty and the Edgerunner perk for full functionality. To trigger the mod, complete Over the Edge, receive Falco’s gift, reach level 40, and sleep in V’s H10 apartment.
- Supporting the effects of cyberpsychosis
✅ How it changes gameplay: you get a powerful tool that literally kills you as you use it. Every activation is a risk, and you begin to understand why David descended into psychosis so quickly. Playing with this mod is a little frightening, but the adrenaline is off the charts, especially on higher difficulties.
Edgerunners Location Additions
Existing locations look fine, but this mod adds details to match the anime.

Edgerunners Location Additions reworks interiors and exteriors of iconic ripperdocs, streets, and bars. Rebuilt in version 2.1 and compatible with patch 2.0+.
- Adds interior and exterior details to the location
- Support for RedMod and Archive versions
- Compatible with all the latest patches
- Requires ArchiveXL
✅ How it changes gameplay: places become more recognizable if you have watched the anime. It is not a sweeping change, but it adds atmosphere, especially when you visit a location and realize that a particular Edgerunners scene happened right there.
Edgerunner ReShade
Another anime-style preset, Edgerunner ReShade, takes a different approach with cel-shading reminiscent of Arcane or Borderlands.

The preset includes RTGI shaders for improved lighting, but requires Pascal Gilcher’s RTGI shader. Performance is moderate: expect 30-40 FPS on an RTX 2070 Super.
- Cel-shading style with RTGI support
- Requires ReShade and Pascal Gilcher’s RTGI shader
- Compatible with all the latest versions
- Performance requirements: moderate (30-40 FPS on RTX 2070 Super)
- Simple installation by copying the preset to the ReShade folder
✅ How gameplay is changing: An alternative to Edgeshaders with a softer approach to cel-shading. If the first preset seems too aggressive, try this one – visually the game still gets closer to the anime, but without such drastic changes.
David Martinez — Build n Save
Don’t want to put David’s build together manually? This mod provides a ready-made character build with all the perks, cyberware, and an approximation of his outfit.

David Martinez Build was tested on Normal and Very Hard and is compatible with the Phantom Liberty DLC. You get a fully prepared character who plays like David from the anime.
- Ready-made David Martinez build for V
- Includes an outfit approximating his anime appearance
- Full combat set of implants and perks
- Tested on Normal and Very Hard
- DLC-ready (working with Phantom Liberty)
- Requires basic mods: ArchiveXL, RED4ext and others
✅ How it changes gameplay: if you want to experience David’s playstyle without spending time putting a build together, this mod is for you. It is an aggressive build focused on the Sandevistan and melee combat, just like in the anime. Playing it on higher difficulties does hurt, but since when did David have an easy life?
Mod installation recommendations
Most mods in this list require ArchiveXL, TweakXL, and Cyber Engine Tweaks, the core Cyberpunk 2077 modding tools. Install them first, or nothing will work. ReShade presets need the latest version of ReShade and, for Edgerunner ReShade, Pascal Gilcher’s RTGI shader.
Pay attention to installation order: some mods can conflict with each other, especially if they change the same files. Read the descriptions on the mod pages, where potential problems are usually listed. And yes, back up your saves before installing new mods, just in case.
Enjoy the anime aesthetic, choom
These 10 mods give a complete immersion in the style of Edgerunners – from visual style to gameplay mechanics. Lucy’s outfit, David’s Sandevistan, Cyberpsychosis, anime graphics – all it takes to turn Night City into a real world of Edgerunners.
