15 Best Cyberpunk 2077 [Graphics Mods] 🌆 In 2026

Cyberpunk 2077 graphics mods for even greater realism

Night City looks beautiful: rain-soaked streets, dazzling neon, incredible verticality. It was built to impress. After hundreds of hours, though, the seams show: a blurry concrete-wall texture or light falling the wrong way. These graphics mods turn Cyberpunk 2077 from a beautiful game into a visual masterpiece.

We will cover the entire spectrum, from basic texture improvements that improve the clarity of each surface, to lighting mods and ReShade presets that completely change the atmosphere of the city.

Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project 2.0

If you have ever installed mods for The Witcher 3, HalkHogan should be a familiar name. This mod is essentially the gold standard for texture improvements. It covers an incredible number of assets without departing from CDPR’s original art style, which I really appreciate.

Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project 2.0: title screen of the large-scale texture overhaul.
  • High-quality textures of roads, walls, landscape, vegetation and various objects.
  • It retains the original artistic style.
  • There are two versions available: Ultra Quality and Balanced, for different amounts of video memory.

✅ Gameplay changes: everything looks sharper and more defined. Asphalt, building facades, and random street debris reveal details that were once a blur. That extra realism and roughness make ordinary walks more engaging.

Ultra Texture Remaster Repack

If HD Reworked Project is a surgical improvement, this is brute force in the best sense: a massive package upscaling almost everything to 4K.

Ultra Texture Remaster Repack: a detailed view of a car's interior.
  • Massive texture package of 12.4 GB.
  • Updates textures for floors, walls, plants, weapons, NPCs, and more to 4K.
  • Full coverage of the whole game.

✅ Gameplay changes: for detail enthusiasts. See tiny jacket stitching and elaborate weapon patterns. It is a noticeable upgrade, but hungry for VRAM. It also conflicts with HD Reworked Project, so choose one.

Environment Textures Overhaul

This mod has found a middle ground. It focuses specifically on architectural and landscape elements on the concrete jungles of Night City themselves. It works well with other mods, which is a huge plus.

A mod Environment Textures Overhaul banner with the name on top of a detailed street.
  • More than 170 high quality textures for architecture and landscape.
  • Available in 4K and 2K versions.
  • Optimized for performance with ray tracing.

✅ Gameplay changes: This is a great optional mod. It makes buildings and landscapes clearer, making the world feel more whole and detailed. The best? It is fully compatible with the HD Reworked Project.

XilaMonstrr’s 4K NPC Texture Upscales

I love mods that focus on characters. The improved textures of the surroundings are great, but it is the people of Night City who bring it to life.

XilaMonstrr's 4K NPC Texture Upscales: a character portrait with crisp tattoos.
  • A collection of 19 individual mods covering different NPC texture categories.
  • AI-upscaled textures for high definition.
  • Modular installation allows you to choose what you need.

✅ Gameplay changes: The characters just look better up close. Skin has more texture, clothes have more detail. Since the mod is modular, you can only install the parts that are important to you.

This collection gives the characters the attention they deserve, especially noticeable when you customize V with great Cyberpunk 2077 body mods.

Better Tree Textures

Sometimes you have to get out of the concrete jungle, and when you do, you want the wastelands and parks to look their best. This mod does exactly what the title says.

High-resolution image of the tree using mod Better Tree Textures in Cyberpunk 2077.
  • Special texture pack for trees and vegetation.
  • Reworks bark, leaves, and other foliage.
  • High-resolution textures to improve the natural environment.

✅ Gameplay changes: This makes the natural areas of the world much more lush and detailed. It’s a subtle but significant improvement in immersion, especially when driving around the outskirts of Night City.

Nova LUT 3.0 (AgX — HDR Support)

My favorite lighting mod. It removes vanilla’s unrealistic warmth and replaces it with something far more natural and cinematic. Path tracing really comes into its own with this.

Nova LUT 3.0: a sunlit building showing realistic lighting and tone.
  • It creates a more realistic, less saturated picture.
  • Highlights cold tones for a natural look.
  • It works well both day and night.

✅ Changes in gameplay: Night City feels less like a video game and more like a real place. The days are bright, but not overly yellow, and the nights are dark and atmospheric, where neon lights cut through the darkness truly spectacularly.

GITS (Ghost in the Shell) 3.0 Lighting Mod

If you are a fan of the Ghost in the Shell aesthetic, this mod is for you. A sweeping overhaul designed to recreate that iconic cinematic cyberpunk style.

  • Four visual styles: LEGACY, FUJI, KURIA, and SHOWA.
  • Includes the Relight system, which fixes broken light sources in the game.
  • Improved rain effects, flashes from gunshots and car interiors.

✅ Gameplay changes: Night City gains a distinctive cinematic identity. KURIA in particular can look incredibly photorealistic with the right ReShade.

Edge LUT 3.0 (Reshade Paywall Begone — HDR)

For players who find Nova LUT too faded and want to bring more color back into the game without going back to the vanilla look.

Mod Edge LUT 3.0 in a bright scene with the car, showing improved colors and light.
  • Increases color vibrancy.
  • Retains vanilla lighting for compatibility.
  • It works well with other visual mods such as Preem Optics.

✅ Gameplay changes: This makes Night City’s neon truly “shining.” A great choice if you prefer a more stylized, hyperrealistic look to pure realism. The city feels more alive and energetic.

Bodycam + Photorealistic ReShade 2.0

The trend on body cameras is huge, and this mod perfectly conveys the feel of film.

First-person view from mod Bodycam Photorealistic ReShade, showing weapons and stairs.
  • Bodycamera effect in style Unrecord.
  • Reduces the strange green tint characteristic of other body camera presets.
  • It comes with a simple installer.

✅ Changes in gameplay: This completely changes the perception of the game, especially in combat. The sensations are genuine, and the impact on performance is surprisingly small.

It looks amazing, especially when combined with tactical gear from the best clothing mods for Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 REAL-LIFE ReShade

DARW1’s Real Life ReShade is a free visual modification for Cyberpunk 2077, designed for more realistic, atmospheric gameplay. Optimized specifically for path tracing, it is intended to work with several other mods to achieve its full effect.

Mod for Cyberpunk Real-Life Reshade
  • ReShade: We recommend version 6.0.1.
  • RED4ext: File version v1.21.0
  • ArchiveXL: File version 1.10.4
  • GITS 3.X: The file is called 01 Fuji Env Basic.
  • Nova LUT: You need a file called Nova LUT – Pure 2.2.

✅ Gameplay changes: This ReShade preset aims to transform the visual style of Night City into a grim, rain-drenched metropolis with a realistic overcast aesthetic. It avoids overly saturated or vivid effects, focusing on creating a deeply atmospheric and immersive world. A key component of this visual enhancement is the “Blooming HDR” shader, which creates fantastic lighting effects.

Photorealistic ReShade 1.4

If a lot of ReShade presets seem too aggressive to you, this one is for you. It is described as a “no frills preset” that improves the vanilla look without changing it completely.

Photorealistic ReShade 1.4: a city screenshot showing subtle visual improvements.
  • Subtle improvements in colors, shadows and sharpness.
  • It doesn’t change the original look of the game.
  • Lightweight and easy to install.

✅ Gameplay changes: think of this as a Vanilla+ option. It takes the base game’s visuals and simply improves them. An ideal choice for purists who only want a little extra clarity.

Better Building Windows

It sounds simple, but you would be surprised how much time you spend looking through glass in Night City. This mod simply makes the windows look like… real windows.

  • Improves the transparency of windows and removes visual dirt.
  • There are several versions available for different levels of transparency.
  • Improves reflections.

✅ Gameplay changes: Now you can really see through the windows clearly. Little thing, but it adds so much to the immersion.

Glass — Blur Remove

Similar to Better Windows, it’s another small, useful mod with a lot of effect. It removes the blurring effect on some glass surfaces.

Comparison of mod Glass Blur Remove and standard glass in the game.
  • Removes the blurring effect from the glass.
  • Improves visibility and clarity.
  • No performance impact.

✅ Changes in gameplay: Simple and clean fix. Coupled with Better Windows, it makes all the glass in Night City clear and clean.

Nova Cam (Body Cam ReShade — Live HUD)

This mod develops the aesthetics of the body camera, integrating live HUD, which takes immersion to a new level.

First-person view with mod Nova Cam and an active HUD interface.
  • Visual in the style of a body camera with a live HUD overlay.
  • Built around Immersive First Person.
  • Requires a high field of view (FOV 120) for best effect.

✅ Gameplay changes: more than a look, it creates an experience. You feel less like someone playing V and more like you are watching live footage from an officer’s or soldier’s camera during a mission.

Preem Optics (Exposure Adaptation — Vignette Removal)

It’s a mandatory mod for me. It removes the irritating effect of the dark vignette when you use sights or optics.

Preem Optics cover image with an eye and descriptions of its features.
  • Removes a dark blurred vignette on the edges of the screen when aiming.
  • Improves visual clarity.

✅ Gameplay changes: the field of view feels wider and clearer in combat. It is a simple quality-of-life fix that makes aiming much more pleasant. I cannot play without it.

A few words about your hardware and installation.

Now for setup; my mod installation guide covers the process. A little care is needed to make everything work. First, your GPU’s memory is the key consideration for texture mods. Large packs need 12 GB, ideally 16 GB or more.

Second, remember the main rule of texture mods:

  • HD Reworked Project and Ultra Texture Remaster cannot work together. Choose one.
  • Load order matters. Manually Enhanced NC V2 is designed to load last, overriding other packs.

For ReShade, make sure you first install all the required lighting mods, such as Nova LUT or GITS, so the preset looks as intended. Read each mod’s page carefully!

Remember, this is your Night City, your vision.

That is the full list: everything needed to create a personal Night City that feels more realistic, cinematic, and immersive than ever. Experiment with combinations and find what suits you and your computer.

Don’t want to spend time searching for mods? I have already put together a collection of the best mods. Simply choose and install what you actually need.

If I missed a great graphics mod that you think deserves a place here, let me know! Write to me and I will happily test it and may add it to the list. 😊 Happy modding, choom.
