Night City rarely offers tenderness, making romance mods for Cyberpunk 2077 popular among players. This selection collects Cyberpunk 2077 romance mods with new animations, livelier dates, and removed gender restrictions for the four main partners.
Romance Hangouts Enhanced
Romance Hangouts Enhanced adds animations and improves the hangout logic introduced in patch 2.1. The developer answered complaints about repetitive visits with repeatable interactions instead of the same tired scene.
- Choose a slow or fast paced dance.
- Repeated hair strokes, hugs and kisses on the couch.
- Partners no longer get stuck waiting for a text reply.
- Correct message logic for non-canonical couples.
- Supports all the game’s languages.
Install alongside Hangout Romances version 1.02 or newer so both work correctly.
✅ How it changes gameplay: dates stop being a dull formality and partners act naturally. For players who want sincere emotions rather than a scripted routine.
Hangout Romances
Hangout Romances adds intimacy missing from ordinary hangouts. Where romance once stopped at cuddling, a date can now end with spending the night together.
- The “make love” option opens after a shower and a hug on the couch.
- Adjust scenes through CET: shorten their duration or disable moans.
- The ability to choose male or female animation regardless of the gender of the character.
Requires Romance Hangouts Enhanced 2.1.1 or newer. Contains adult content; observe the age restrictions on the mod page.
✅ What it adds: evenings at home become a natural continuation of the relationship rather than a frozen image. I recommend combining it with the preceding mod.
Non-Canon Romances Enhanced
Non-Canon Romances Enhanced adds animations for pairings CDPR did not support. Relationships outside a character’s original orientation previously produced awkward scenes; these now adapt to V’s gender.
- A separate bed scene with Panam for a female character.
- Hug support with Judy for the male version of the mercenary during The Star finale.
- A convenient menu for enabling or disabling non-canonical romances directly in your save.
Settings appear in the Mods menu only after loading a specific save, so do not worry if they are initially absent.
✅ How it affects the playthrough: freedom to choose a partner without visual glitches or stuck cameras. For anyone tired of rigid story restrictions.
Multi Romance
Multi Romance removes the locks on relationships with all four partners simultaneously. Its script removes gender and body restrictions without plot conflicts where the original game made you choose.
- Removing blocks by gender and body type for Judy, Panam, River and Kerry.
- Automatic use of the fix on old saves through a separate quest flag.
- Judy’s romance logic remains intact, working as in vanilla.
Built for game version 1.61 and CET 1.21, so newer patches may cause problems. It starts working only from the beginning of each partner’s romance path.
✅ Impact on the experience: V becomes a heartbreaker without monogamy, useful for role-playing a free-spirited, daring mercenary.
Judy Romanced Enhanced
Judy Romanced Enhanced enlivens Judy’s behavior in her apartment after starting a relationship. Previously, the girl stood at the window for days, and now she is engaged in ordinary everyday activities.
- Cooking and eating in the kitchen.
- Regular showers on schedule.
- Sleeping in bed at night.
- Built-in hug function.
- Localized new text prompts for the game’s languages.
If your save is inside Judy’s apartment, leave before installing for safer cutscene behavior.
✅ How it feels: Judy’s home stops being scenery with a mannequin. Visit at different times to see new behaviors.
Panam Romanced Enhanced
Panam Romanced Enhanced fixes bugs and brings Panam to life in the Aldecaldos camp after you have romanced her and the nomads have moved to their new location. Previously, hugs and her bed worked inconsistently and often broke; this mod sorts that out.
- Drinking at the bar and eating at camp tables.
- Support for Romanced Enhanced Shower Features
- Sleep in bed without having to wait for the player to lie down.
- Hug and talk to Panam during activities other than sleep and showers.
It also fixes Saul’s behavior nearby and adds opaque shower curtains, so the whole camp no longer watches the scene. Fully compatible with Judy Romanced Enhanced and Kerry Interactions Enhanced; River Romanced Enhanced 1.3.3 works without conflicts despite some shared file edits.
✅ How it changes gameplay: the Aldecaldos camp stops being frozen scenery. Panam follows a schedule, so visit at different times to catch every scene.
NCI Addon — Santo Domingo
NCI Addon – Santo Domingo adds local bars to Night City Interactions. Previously, every location loaded through one heavy file; Santo Domingo now has its own module.
- Getting together at the Buryger diner and the Red Dirt club.
- Meetings at the Kenmore Diner and the local market at the H4 Megatower.
- Dates at PieZ and Capitan Caliente.
The add-on requires the main Night City Interactions mod. Without it, these locations will not activate.
✅ Why it matters: the city’s diners finally have a purpose, because you can invite someone close to you. Take Panam on a date to these rough but cozy-in-their-own-way spots.
NCI Addon — Westbrook
NCI Addon – Westbrook adds hangout spots in the upscale district. It solves the problem of venues with nothing to do, letting V unwind over a drink after a hard day.
- Dates at Lele Park and Xiao Xiongmao Chinese Restaurant.
- Relaxing at Dark Matter nightclub.
- Additional solo drinking spots on Jig-Jig Street and at Cherry Blossom Market.
Uninstall only while away from Westbrook’s bars to avoid a game crash.
✅ Atmospheric impact: a reason to visit wealthy neighborhoods for views and quiet conversation, easing tension between firefights.
NCI Addon — Badlands and Pacifica
NCI Addon – Badlands and Pacifica places interaction points outside the city and in Pacifica, where places to sit were missing. The plugin adds tables and bar counters.
- Drinking together in both camps.
- Meetings at the table at the Sunset Motel.
- Solo drinking spots at Batty’s Hotel and the trailer park.
Access to Aldecaldos locations is only available as Panam personal quests progress, so these points will not work ahead of time.
✅ What it adds: the Badlands stop being a dead zone and become a good setting for romance beneath the stars. A great fit for a Nomad playthrough.
NCI Addon — Heywood
NCI Addon – Heywood opens street bars in Heywood’s contrasting neighborhoods. The author fills the gap of places to drink on Valentinos territory.
- Dates at the El Coyote Cojo Bar.
- Meetings at Pinche Polo and Dicky Twister.
- A meeting at the counter at Chubby Buffalo’s.
You cannot bring a partner to Pinche Polo while Fifth Column is active: a gang member can occupy the seat.
✅ Impact on gaming experience: The atmosphere of the area is revealed through dialogues in local eateries. A good chance to get to know your companions in an informal setting.
NCI Addon — Watson
NCI Addon – Watson completes the bar add-on series with locations in the starting district. Clubs become actual meeting places rather than scenery.
- Drinking with Jackie at Tom’s Diner.
- Dates at Lizzie’s and Afterlife.
- Street stalls on the Kabuki ring and in the NID docks.
Lizzie’s waitresses sometimes cross between you and your partner because of their routes. This is an engine limitation rather than a mod bug.
✅ How it changes the experience: early in the story, you can spend time with friends before major trouble begins. Try the scenes from the prologue.
How to properly install modifications
Installing plugins does not require programming skills, but it is worth following a couple of rules. Before dropping archives into system folders, check file versions and compatibility with the mods you already have installed.
- Make a backup of saves so you don’t accidentally break progress.
- Carefully read the requirements for each mod script on its page.
- Extract archives strictly into the specified folders, without mixing files from different versions.
- Test the mod on a new save before using it in your main playthrough.
